With over 36 miles of coastline, long sandy beaches which received six Quality Coast Awards (www.qualitycoast.org) and two Blue Flag Awards (www.blueflag.org.uk) in 2007, we also pride ourself with the introduction of our successful lost children wrist band scheme in designated beach areas making your visit to the coast that little bit more relaxed!

Dovercourt Bay - This unspoilt seafront offers a wealth of activities to keep even the most demanding visitor busy.

Clacton - In the summer months it all happens on–or-by the beach in Clacton. With its traditional fun-fi lled seaside atmosphere it is still a fi rm family favourite.

Harwich - Harwich Beach is located next to the historic town of Harwich on the estuary of the rivers Stour and Orwell in north-east Essex. Boasting excellent views of Felixstowe docks, Harwich beach is ideal for those who enjoy a walk along the seashore in both the summer and winter.
