of people with mobility impairments, whether temporary or
permanent. Shop mobility provides powered scooters / wheelchairs

Many of the District’s public toilets have facilities
operated by the National Radar
Key System. For a full listing of accessible toilets
or to purchase a Radar key contact one of our local Tourist
Information Centres.
Mobility vehicles may be parked free of charge on all Council
car parks for up to three hours in any one day, providing
a blue parking badge is displayed correctly and the clock
is set accurately. Disabled badge holders are entitled to
unlimited parking in designated on street parking areas, which
are marked with a white broken line (excluding permit zones).

Both the Princes and West Cliff Theatres in Clacton, the Electric
Palace Cinema in Harwich and Frinton Summer Theatre have designated
spaces suitable for wheelchair users and carer’s / support
workers. However we would recommend that you discuss any specific
needs at the time of booking your tickets.
