Clacton-on-Sea
has a mixture of big name stores, boutiques and independently
owned shops to suit your needs. Shops are ideally located
in and around the recently regenerated town centre and are
all within walking distance. And if in need of a break, take
a seat, kick back and rest your weary feet whilst enjoy watching
the dancing fountains and the world go by until your ready
for more shopping!!
Just out side of Clacton are the larger
named supermarkets where you can purchase all you essentials
for your stay, and Clacton
Factory Outlet offering a variety of cut price
brands.
Frinton-on-Sea with its old world charm
is a shoppers paradise. Connaught Avenue the main shopping
street which leads to the sea front, is often referred to
as the 'Bond Street of Essex' and here you can find a selection
of independent retailers including; rugs, imported Danish
home wares, delicatessens, clothes and many traditional shops
survive such as the butchers selling home made pies!
