does not have any statutory control over the operational procedures
adopted by establishments and therefore cannot accept responsibility
for any of the accommodation detailed in this Guide and cannot
intervene in contractual disputes. It is therefore advised
that if you have a complaint it should be raised direct with
the establishment before your departure.
The prices shown on advertisements are intended as a guide
only. They provide an indication of an establishment’s
minimum starting price per adult per night, or in the case
of self catering the minimum starting price per week. It should
be noted that prices may be lower than quoted out of season.
Prices quoted in the Guide have been submitted by the individual
establishments, all details should be checked when making
a booking as prices can and do vary throughout the season.
You will see that some of the accommodation
featured in this site has been quality assessed by either
VisitBritain or the AA. The rating system seeks to ensure
that customers are guaranteed a minimum level of services
and facilities. Please be advised that ratings may change
throughout the year depending on when the property is inspected
and that Tendring District Council has made every effort to
check that gradings are correct at time of entry but cannot
be held responsible for any discrepancies thereafter and cannot
accept any liability resulting from omissions or inaccuracies.
